Small Groups

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

Proverbs 27:17

We believe that Small Groups are instrumental to the spiritual growth and maturity of every believer.  Small Groups help people get to know the God of the Word, build deeper relationships with other believers and fulfill one of God's purposes for the church. Fellowship is more than a hand shake on Sunday morning.  Fellowship is deep and sincere, non-superficial connection!  Therefore, every person in our church is strongly encouraged to join a Small Group.

What if instead of ignoring our feelings, we noticed them, named them, and let God use them to draw us closer to himself and others? Many of us need to unlearn damaging messages about our emotions. We’ve been taught, for example, that emotions are untrustworthy, when, in fact, God can use them to help us see where we need his healing. In this six-session series, Jennie Allen uses scientific research, biblical insight, and her own story to help you name and navigate your emotions and learn how they can draw you closer to the God who made you—soul, mind, and heart.

Eternal Motivation for Earthly Success
The unique hardships of our modern lives can often feel insurmountable. But God’s Word reveals to us that there is no obstacle, habit, or situation we face that Jesus hasn’t already given us the power to conquer. In this eight-session study, bestselling author Dr. Tony Evans examines how Christ’s message to the seven churches in Revelation can challenge, convict, and lead us toward emphatic victory over any difficulty in life. As we heed God’s instructions to the early church, we will learn to reject lukewarm faith and start living as overcomers.

There are plenty of assumptions about dating and marriage in today’s world. According to the culture’s standards, decisions about how to date, when to date, and who to date are all up to you and your preference. But what about God’s standards regarding intimate relationships and choosing a partner?
In this four-session series, pastor and author Jonathan Pokluda will discuss the joys and frustrations that come with dating as a Christian and the ideologies of the world that impact how we approach relationships. He will debunk the myths that give us faulty expectations for dating and teach us a godly view of dating and God’s design for relationships and sex.
